Mimicle offers a service where users can interpret emotions conveyed through their own drawings. The app collects and analyzes hundreds of data points constituting user drawings and provides evaluations based on the OCEAN (Openness, Conscientiousness, Extroversion, Agreeableness, Neuroticism) index for free. After years of research involving extensive consultations with doctoral-level art therapy experts and substantial algorithm refinements, Mimicle made its debut last year.
Users of MimcCle can share emotions with other users through their drawings. Additionally, they can receive summarized monthly reports and interpretations of their drawings. Through the Open Gallery, users can explore drawings from peers worldwide on similar themes.
Mimicle has filed a total of 10 patents since 2019 related to developing algorithms that extract and analyze users' unique patterns from drawing data, seven of which have been successfully registered.
Currently, a team of around 10 staff, including in-house and outsourced engineers and designers, is dedicated to the development of the Mimicle platform. Designer Seunghee Ko has been serving as a freelance UI/UX designer and early member since May 2021, focusing on designing mobile iPad versions in Korean, English, Spanish, and Japanese. She has also designed 144 emotion emojis representing psychological states within the Mimicle app.
Designer Seunghee Ko of Mimicle expressed her delight, stating, "I am thrilled that the designs has extended for the mobile iPad versions in Korean, English, Spanish, and Japanese have received such positive feedback not only in the domestic market but also internationally.
I believe the emojis used in the app effectively express emotions and showcase the true essence of the Mimicle brand concept. I am incredibly proud of this achievement and the future of Mimicle."
