26일 제이슨 모모아는 자신의 인스타그램에 “Reposted from @protectmaunakea - This isn’t about science versus culture, this is about right and wrong. Doing right by the land and it’s people by protecting a mountain that gives us water and life. A mountain that is the tallest in the world from the sea floor up. This is about protecting our sacred land from further desecration. -”라는 글과 함께 사진을 게재해 팬들의 이목을 집중시켰다.
